100 Hour Scheduled Service

OBX Boat Co LLC follows Yamaha's factory recommended scheduled service program for the initial 20-hour check and subsequent 100-hour service intervals.

100-Hour Service

We perform a comprehensive service and inspection of you motor to ensure that it remains running in peak condition.  This service includes:

1. Change engine oil and oil filter using genuine Yamalube^TM oil

2. Replace primary fuel filter

3. Change spark plugs

4. Change gear case lubricant and seals using genuine Yamalube^TM gear case oil

5. Remove propeller and grease prop shaft splines

6. Inspect water pump and water pump housing. Replace if needed

7. Inspect propeller shaft seals, drive shaft seals, power tilt & trim seals. Replace if needed

8. Inspect thermostat(s) and replace if needed

9. Inspect external engine and mounting bracket anodes and replace if needed

10. Apply Yamashield^TM corrosion protectant
